Our Duna napkin is woven on an ancestral shuttle loom by a family of artisans from Mitla, Mexico. We truly appreciate our partner who works from his home studio.
Our cotton weave is colored using 100% biodegradable natural dyeing techniques. The pigments are derived from plants, nutshells, indigo and Cempasúchil flowers; a technique passed from generations.
These hand towels are made with an Ikat dyeing technique: the pattern is created by dyeing the yarn before weaving. This abstract and minimalist design will add a subtle, elegant touch to your table.
Our studio played with shades of: ocher yellow, Baja blue, ash rose, agave green. Our napkins are machine washable.
By purchasing a Coutume item, you allow an ancient textile craft to endure. Discover the manufacturing workshops and the weavers behind our decorative objects: MEET THE MAKERS
