Sheep wool

All our rugs are made from a natural soft sheep wool. Each piece is naturally dyed with plants.

Cotton

The artisans in Central America use cotton for back-strap loom and shuttle loom techniques. Some of our partners work with Fair-Trade certified cotton providers.

Natural dyes

Most of our objets are made with 100% biodegradable dyes. The plant based pigments are developed with: flowers, bark, insects, bark, nutshells or even local insects.

All our rugs are carefully handwoven in Mexico, from the finest natural sheep wool.

- Avoid positioning your rug in direct or prolonged sunlight.

- Avoid moisture, humidity or water. Never machine wash or hand wash an entire rug or rub with a wet liquid stain. This could lead to deformation.

Hand-washing: Handmade ceramics are often more delicate than mass-produced ceramics, so it's best to hand-wash them rather than using a dishwasher. Use a mild dish soap and warm water to gently clean the ceramics. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh cleaning chemicals, as they may damage the surface or decorations.

Avoid sudden temperature changes: Sudden temperature changes can cause ceramic pieces to crack or break. For example, avoid placing hot ceramics directly into cold water or vice versa. Allow ceramics to cool gradually before washing them if they've been used for hot foods or beverages. Store them in a stable environment away from heat sources and fluctuations in temperature.

Avoid microwave and oven: Unless explicitly stated, we don’t recommend using handmade ceramics in the microwave or oven.

Staining and discoloration: Some handmade ceramics may be more prone to staining or discoloration, especially if they have porous surfaces or unglazed areas. Be mindful when using pigmented foods and beverages, as they may leave stains. Promptly clean any spills or stains to prevent them from becoming permanent.

Storage: When not in use, store handmade ceramics securely and stably space to prevent them from being damaged.
