This soft wool rug is anything but mundane. The geometric earthy pattern gives it a singular warm aesthetic.

Our Terracotta Flores rug is flat woven in Mexico, on a traditional treadle loom. It is hand made by a family of craftsmen from Teotitlan del Valle, a village in the desert region of Oaxaca. Our craftsman works with his family and community.

The design combines ancestral codes and modern graphics, displaying geometric patterns typical of the region. The pigments are derived from plants, tree bark or even local insects; a technique passed from generation to generation.

This soft wool rug will enhance any living room or bedroom décor with a subtle bohemian touch. Available in tobacco or black, in standard S to XL sizes made to order.
